Documentum Developer

Sr. Documentum Developer would have in depth understanding in Documentum WebTop and understands all aspects of configuring, customizing and interfacing with Documentum externally. Would have end-to-end Documentum project lifecycle experience, including scoping requirements, analysis, proposes technical solution, design, effort estimation and systems implementation. Play active role in development, maintenance and administration of Documentum and related tools through KBR IT Application Development Process. Develops custom tools or maintain existing custom tools. Identifies, researches, and resolves application issues. Helps DocumentumAdministrators by writing code to optimize their administrative responsibilities. Follows change and release management practices fully. Fixes Development related bugs and co-ordinates with global teams. Help provide 24x7 coverage, where needed and directed. Must have understanding ofDocumentum Administration and Documentum Troubleshooting skills. Provides support to end users on a variety of Documentum-related issues. Must have good understanding of Documentumsecurity.

May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience.
Under broad direction, often works independently and provides leadership for others functions in a senior role in application technical design, development, enhancement and maintenance, including preparation of requirements, specifications, estimates, unit testing, code reviews and technical documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor degree from an accredited university in IT related discipline, or equivalent professional experience/combined education.
5+ years of experience in Documentum Development.
In-depth knowledge of Webtop/WDK/DFC 6.5+, UCF, Composer 6.5+, eclipse, Content Server 6.5+, DQL/SQL
In-depth experience with Documentum Administrator (creating methods, SCS,custom java methods etc.)
Thorough understanding of Documentum 6.5 features and other tools in Documentum
Thorough understanding of JAVA/J2EE, XML
Implementation experience of Web Services, DFS 
Deploying applications in Oracle Application Server / BEA WebLogic Server and performance tuning.
Experience in configuring ACS/BOCS.
Working experience in xCP
Working knowledge in developing interfaces using ASP/VB.Net, AJAX is a plus.
Excellent communications skills and ability to interface with the business community.
Understanding of Documentum concepts and architecture including security and administration. 
Experience using DQL/API.
Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills to independently troubleshoot and resolve allDocumentum issues.
MS Office products.
Documentum Developer Certification Preferred.
